Executive Search Consultant and Search Division Head
Has 18 years of experience in the search industry, initially in a specialist IT boutique and later with two international executive search firms and a local proudly South African organization, Mabili, which she helped grow and position in the Search Industry, acting as Consultant, Chief Operating Officer and MD. She has developed a deep understanding and experience of the ICT industry having placed executive and specialized skills candidates into a range of leading listed and multinational ICT companies. Lesley has established a reputation for delivery and has extensive experience of black empowerment recruitment in the ICT field amongst others.
As a generalist Lesley has a depth of experience in placing candidates at senior / executive/ board positions and middle management levels across all roles and most market segments. In addition Lesley has experience in the managing of large projects, for example, the staffing of Uthingo.
Lesley holds a BSC Hons (Genetics) at the University of the Witwatersrand.

Her career started as a graduate in the contingent recruitment environment, where she was promoted into a Generalist Recruitment Consultant, recruiting at all levels. This gained her experience in business development and client engagement. In most recent years, Deshnee has been working in Executive Search, focusing on positions that require specialist skills, middle to senior management and executive level roles across various industries and disciplines. Key disciplines include Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain & Procurement, Sales & Marketing, and IT. Project management, headhunting and industry research is critical in her role as an Executive Researcher. Deshnee holds a BA Human Resources Degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and is currently pursuing her Honors Degree in HR Organizational Change and Development.
