NATIONAL CERTIFICATE BUSINESS ANALYSIS NQF LEVEL 6 LEARNERSHIP
The Banking sector (through BANKSETA) has indicated a continuing need for a post graduate programme to give unemployed graduates an opportunity to gain practical Business Analysis skills in the Banking and Micro Finance Sector. This Learnership is aimed specifically at recruiting Learners with a valid B IT degree, so that they gain a relevant Business Analysis qualification plus experience in the workplace. In so doing they will become more employable for careers within the Banking and Micro Finance Sector.
The National Certificate Business Analysis NQF Level 6 Learnership commenced on 1 February 2016. The duration of the program is 12 months and the end date is 31 January 2017. Currently the pilot project is for 20 learners.
ICT Skills Development Comptia Award for Largest Youth Certification Programme for 2015
The ICT Skills Development team won the Comptia Award for the Largest Youth Certification Programme for 2015. Our internship programmes are unique in that we offer a Comptia A+ certification to all our interns. The Gijima internship started on 22 June 2015 with 197 interns and by end August 2015 we already had 138 A+ certified students, to date 163 interns are certified. On 14 October 2015 the ICT Skills Development team received the award for the Largest Youth Certification Programme for 2015 competing against CTU and Torque IT in the same category. Congratulations to the ICT Youth Development team for this outstanding performance.
