GIJIMA ICT INTERNSHIP CRITERIA - SYSTEMS SUPPORT

 

The learning entry level requirement should be applicable for access into these qualifications.

 

• Learners should be in possession of a three-year tertiary qualification and/or studying towards these qualifications
(Degree or Diploma in the same field)

• National Certificate at NQF Level 5

• Recognition of prior learning through about 1 year of experience, covering the learning assumed to be in place for
this qualification. For recognition of prior learning (RPL), a learner is required to submit a portfolio of evidence
of relevant experience, in a prescribed format to be assessed for formal recognition.

• Learning assumed to be in place: It is assumed that the learner is competent in skills gained at the further education
and training band, with exposure to computing as a requirement. A learning assumption of this qualification is
foundational skills in English and Mathematics at NQF level 4.
Further learning assumed is the ability to use a personal computer

• Recruit and select Learners according to MICT Seta approved entry requirements and ensure that 85% are blacks,
54% are females, 15% Whites and 4% are disabled

• Ages between 18-35

• South African Citizen

LEARNERSHIP CRITERIA – Systems Support NQF Level 5

• A learning assumption of this qualification is foundational skills in English and Mathematics at NQF level 4.

• Further learning assumed is the ability to use a personal computer competently

• National Certificate at NQF level 4( i.e. Technical Support NQF Level 4)

• Grade 12

• Ages between 18 – 35

• South African Citizen

DISABLE LEARNERSHIP CRITERIA - END USER NQF LEVEL 3

Opportunity for Students living with Disabilities for a 1 year Learnership in the Midrand area, with a possibility of further opportunities after successful completion. No experience needed.
